Researched, wrote and field produced pieces for 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts. Worked closely with show producers, wrote teases and tosses and contributed editorial and production ideas. Field produced assignments including the Zaca Fire, Barack Obama’s campaign and the Santa Ynez Valley expansion plan. Wrote, produced and assembled feeds and packages for ABC’s NewsOne feed and Pathfire video services. Used my Spanish language skills to track and assist assignment editors and reporters with translations and research.
